Florida Travel Life Magazine blog story about Culinary Tours

Florida Travel Life Magazine
July 17, 2013
by Cami Webb

History has never been so delicious. On the second, third and fourth Saturdays of each month, Taste History Culinary Tours in Palm Beach County gives you a cultural tour that’s punctuated with tastings from the area’s must-try restaurants, bakeries, and food stands (and maybe even a few surprises). Galleries and shops are also on the tour list, so you can fully explore the quaint historic neighborhoods of Palm Beach County.

Tour guide Lori has been called a “walking dictionary,” and you’re guaranteed to find out some interesting tidbits didn’t know about the town. And if not, you’ll be too busy noshing on homemade scones, pistachio pound cake or sausage rolls to notice.

Encore Lake Worth and Lantana tour with new Foods, new Beach Casino and Glass Art experiences hosted for Broken Sound Country Club

The Broken Sound Country was hosted on an encore Taste History Culinary Tour of Lake Worth and Lantana that traveled to new food and art experiences.  Their first culinary tour experience was in 2012 in Lake Worth and Lantana.  Because each culinary tour is different and never an exact duplication of any previous tour, 2013 brought a whole new flavor for Broken Sound.
The gastronome journey made its way to the Cheese & Wine Café in Lantana, Lake Worth Beach Casino Complex, Sabal House Bed & Breakfast, South Shores Tavern, Brogues Downunder and the Maryanne Webber Gallery.  The finale was a trip to Taste History's newest art partner the McMow Art Glass Studio in Lake Worth where the Broken Sound guests viewed the behind-the-scenes glass art-making process.  The culinary tour also walked thru the LULA Arts District of Downtown Lake Worth.

Here is the photo diary from the May 24, 2013 Taste History Tour:
