On Saturday, December 8, 2012, the Taste History Culinary Tour traveled to historic Lake Worth and Lantana, Florida. The food eating experience included a visit to the Sugarcane Lady at the Lake Worth's Oceanside Farmer's Market which is situated right along the Lake Worth Lagoon. The culinary tour also made its way to Mother's Earth Cafe which specializes in organic foods. The featured cusine at Mother Earth was their yamburger and black bean burger served with housemade cilantro sauce and bread pudding.
The Taste History tour also traveled to The Mango Inn Bed & Breakfast for their famed mango-infused French Toast. Then, the tour arrived at South Shores Tavern for bites of their gourmet portobello mushroom bruschetta. And, the tour guests strolled thru downtown Lake Worth to the Java Juice Bar for organic smoothies. Following the Juice Bar, the guests took a bus ride to the Tortilleria for tortillas. The tour guests also viewed locally created art work at the Lake Worth Art League Gallery; and the Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery both in the LULA Arts District of Downtown Lake Worth, Florida. In the Town of Lantana, the Taste History tour guests were treated to beef stroganoff at George's Meat Market.
